Dr. Shilling comes to us after completing his OBGYN residency with Michigan State University/Ascension Providence Hospital in 2021. He is academically decorated having held the position of OBGYN Chief Resident at Ascension Providence Hospital, he received the Resident Physician Educator of the Year Award in 2020 and 2021, and Resident Teach of the Year Award consecutively in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Dr. Shilling is described as compassionate, caring, attentive, and detail oriented. When it comes to his patients, Dr. Shilling feels blessed to have the opportunity to build lasting relationships and to care for women and their families throughout all stages of their lives here in Colorado. He believes in shared decision-making and in considering all of the needs of his patients and implores them to be an active part of their care. He has special interests in robotic surgery, minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery, high- and low-risk obstetrics, and abnormal uterine bleeding. When he's not treating patients, he can be found spending time with his wife and two daughters, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and playing volleyball.
