Dr. Johnson-Wirt joined the Pediatric team at Optum’s Briargate office in Fall 2015 after working as a Pediatric Hospitalist in Dothan, Alabama. She brings over 10 years experience in pediatric and neonatal care to the practice, and is a great asset to our team! When she’s not busy seeing patients, Dr. Johnson-Wirt enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, crafts, and cooking.

1/22/2021 I've had bad delay experiences every time I've gone into this office. I'm contemplating switching from Optum all together.
12/18/2020 It took the doctor 50 min. last time we were there. My daughter becomes very agitated waiting so long.

9/15/2020 She was awful. She did not introduce herself upon entering the room. There was no acknowledgment of the wait time. She talked over me then concluded by saying it really wasn't a "big deal." My autistic son was quite disturbed by the conclusion. My children have been seen by Dr Nitcher, primarily and other physicians in the practice over the past 12 years. We've been thoroughly pleased. I would never allow my children to be seen by her again.

8/6/2020 Called 5 times for test results before being called back. Waited 75 minutes and only saw the doctor for 10. Not okay!
