Dr. Abbott joins us after 25 years of military service with the U.S. Air Force. He has received the Meritorious Service Medal from the Air Force. As a flight commander, he has extensive leadership experience and previously oversaw clinic operations, daily huddles, and patient experience.
Dr. Abbott is described as optimistic, proactive, and tenacious. He believes in working in a cohesive and collaborative team environment. He think it's important to have fun at work with your team mates as well as with the patients, and to always be respectful and kind. For him, looking after colleagues creates an efficient and positive practice.
When not seeing patients he enjoys biking, weightlifting, traveling, and writing.
