BOOSTER SHOTS

An advisory panel to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) voted to recommend additional booster shots be given to those fully vaccinated individuals who received an mRNA (Moderna, Pfizer, or J&J) vaccine.

Mixing of mRNA vaccines is permitted for the third shot if the original vaccine is not available. OPTUM Colorado Springs currently only has the Pfizer vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine may be given to those who initially received Moderna.

Scheduling can begin immediately. Please call our OPTUM hotline at 719-463-5650 to make your appointment.
